SESSION OVERVIEW

This session offers expert feedback in a small, supportive setting, along with a deeper artistic discussion on relevant critique themes and connections to the instructor’s current projects.

SESSION STRUCTURE

With a full group of 10 participants, each participant will receive about 8 minutes of dedicated critique time, focusing on both:

  1. The specific works in the critique – feel free to bring up to 5 pieces

  2. Your overall artistic development.

Peer Feedback – We will integrate peer feedback but ask that it is concise

Insights Discussion – A 20-minute conversation exploring broader artistic themes, critique takeaways, and connections to contemporary artistic discourse.

REMOTE PARTICIPATION

  • Remote participants will view our live group and artwork via camera, will hear the discussion, and can comment by voice.

  • Remote participants should get in touch with us to plan ahead: team@westportalgallery.com

  • In-person attendees will see remote works displayed on a TV screen.

MATERIALS TO BRING

Tables and chairs are provided. The gallery offers a restroom, water, and tea. A café is conveniently located across the street.
